I truly believe that it's all about YOU! And yet, I understand that getting to know me is an important step in your decision whether to hire or refer me.
Whether I'm with my family, trail running with my four-legged best friend, in the hot room practicing Bikram Yoga, boating, kayaking, skiing or on my motorbike, I'm always "in the moment". I've acheived a great balance in my life (not just on my mat!) through focus and appreciation. Privileged to own horses through my teenage years, I developed a great sense of compassion and still enjoy the thrill and tranquility of the odd backpack trip on horseback in the mountains. Great time management, unbounded energy and a willingness to be and do my best enables me to enjoy all of these activities and more!

I've been a Realtor ® since 1992, and over the years have honed many skills and innate characteristics that have enabled me to become a successful professional. I'm highly organized, analytical, tenacious and business-minded on one side, and yet am a great listener, compassionate and nurturing on the other. Originally associated with a top national real estate brand in Ontario, I was the #1 Top Producing agent in my city for many years and the grateful recipient of many awards including one recognizing the Top 5% of realtors nationwide in the organization. My clients are my top concern, the long term consistent results are merely a reflection of their trust and loyalty to the service and guidance I provide.
Being married to a highly successful mortgage broker has provided me with insight into that side of the business and I strive to keep myself "in the know" with the lending industry's changes and trends. I'm a big believer in continuing education, and for that reason keep current with real estate industry news, legislation affecting detached homes and stratas, government incentives, new home development and taxation, marketing trends, systems, and of course real estate values and market demand versus supply so that I can provide my clients with up-to-date knowledge allowing them to make informed decisions. Growing up and being involved with our multi-generational family logging-business-turned-building-supply-store helped to educate me well with respect to home construction, materials, business processes, marketing, etc. and provided me with a fairly trained eye enabling me to evaluate homes well for my buyers and sellers through an appreciation for design, structure, mechanical systems, material choice and installation or execution. Of course, I'm not an expert and ALWAYS recommend a professional home inspection from a licensed and insured company.
